Brass Jewelry Care
Raw brass is a forever metal, that is why we love it so much here at the Heavenly Collective. We know that your pieces can tarnish with wear. So here are some tips and tricks that can help you get the most out of your brass HC jewelry.
CLEANING BRASS
Our favorite brass polish, BRASSO, can be found at hardware stores almost anywhere and is crazy affordable. When using any brass polish, it is best to use a soft cloth or a soft toothbrush to polish the piece. After polishing, scrub the piece down with mild dish soap and water, making sure to clean all polish off of the piece. Always dry your jewelry completely after cleaning to avoid water stains.
If your jewelry is really tarnished and polish is not available, you can use a simple mix of baking soda, lemon juice and water. Scrub it on with a soft cloth or toothbrush, wipe off, and dry.

STORAGE & WEAR
Avoid wearing your brass jewelry in the shower, swimming, or humid environments. Water and humidity causes brass to tarnish much quicker than normal.
